If your dog likes to fetch and you can bring her in during off-hours, this long, narrow run is a decent spot to get some fresh air and exercise. At peak after-work and weekend hours, though, it's just too crowded for fetch, and there's hardly room for much else.

A modest triangular area in the southeast corner of this popular park is set aside for dogs to frolic off-leash. Three large trees provide shade. Alderman Manny Flores was nice enough to supply a dispenser stocked with plastic bags.
